Our Story
We are a church that started in September 2022 at our home on Goodyear Boulevard in Akron, Ohio.
God provided for us in countless ways, causing us to name the church based on a verse found in the Bible, Acts 5:39: “but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them…” We trust we’re simply joining the work God is already doing in Akron and are stepping out in faith he will continue to do great things and bring more people into his family as his children.
We are passionate about coming together as the family of God to serve others and invite them into Jesus’ family, despite any differences we might have as brothers and sisters. Our church’s vision is to invite people into Jesus’ family! If every name in Goodyear Heights is on a family card, we will be one step closer to giving everyone a church home and family.
